About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world, meeting interesting people, live.

ABOUT ME

Hello :) This profile is for Lysanne and I. We have been good friend for a while now, we are flatmates, and travel backpack together.

What can I say about us? We are very sporty and adventurous, and we love to try some new sports or activities. We both enjoy couchsurfing because it gives us a chance to meet new people and explore new country in a non-touristic way. You are peacefull and optimistic people, trying to see best out of very situation
PHILOSOPHY

(Lysanne) "Freedom's just another word for nothing left to lose" + " Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far can one go"

(Marie) "Live, Laugh and Love"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We started couchsurfing in 2012-2013 when we cross Germany, from Hamburg to Munchen. We met extraordinary people that made a journey unforgettable. We gave back to the community by hosting in our tiny appartment in Montréal. Since then, we have move in a bigger flat, so we will probably able to host again soon.

This summer (2015), we plan a big trip through Hungary and Romania!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have a couple experiences and all of them were very positive. We are very happy we got the chance to meet all these wonderful people either by being hosted of by hosting them. Every CS experience is different and that is what makes it amazing.

Interests

Lysanne and I got into rockclimbing a year ago and we really like it. We are also interested in hicking or anything that is related to mountains :D

Lysanne enjoys thinking about the big questions of the human experience, reading historical novel, saving the planet and drink coffee.

I like behing around people, chilling a little, take long walks in the parc and planning our next trip.

Lysanne: Sleeping under the open sky on a mountain in a national park. / Being recruted in Circus School (and refused it!) / Rafting on the Red River / Surfing on the Pacific Ocean in Nicaragua

Teach, Learn, Share

What I love the most in couchsurfing is sharing some typical moments with people from other places so I can really know how they live in their country and they can feel how we live in ours.

We can teach how to make bread (some Australian CSguest teached us!), teach you some French word (yah, Canada is not only English), and teach you gymnastics tricks (lysanne have been gymnastics coach for a while).

Unfortunatly, we don't know how to built a Tipi, we don't own a beaver, there is no moose in our backyard and we don't need a Kayak to move around. :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

We love to cook for our hosts, typical canadian meal or anything that involves Curry. Curry is just so good!

We can also offer our best smile :D.

Countries I’ve Visited
