Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm more interested in discovering a culture through the perspective of locales than that of tourist agencies.

Interests

I love food. I love music and movies, lemonade, ducks, ice storms, walks, and libraries, dancing, thick blankets, going on adventures, dancing again, trees, concert halls, hot chocolate, friends, and a great many other things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The river in the winter, when I walk by it every morning. Especially when there's ducks.
Being homeless in Paris for a weekend.
Field work with grassroots social movements in Brazil and India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach languages and music. And for the more daring: knitting, dance, or yoga.
Learning Portuguese and tango. Eventually, guitar?
