About Me

Growing up in Hamburg, moving to Göttingen for Bachelors, Exchange Semester in Copenhagen and recently finishing my master in Art History in Leipzig (topic: the finnish architect Alvar Aalto).
I worked in different institutions as volunteer, last in Leipzig for the local radio mephisto 97.6, rebuilding the PR department and organisating with zero budget a lot of events like mephisto unplugged, the presentation at the Leipziger Buchmesse (Leipzig Bookfair) 2015 and 2016 and so on.

Everything I do, I do with passion. Cause i believe one can only be good in something, if he's loving what he does. And I need it to be focused and happy.
The most important thing for me is family- which includes for me as well close friends. I'm a extremly loyal and considerate person for the people i love.
I love cykling, especially in Copenhagen. The six months I lived in Copenhagen had a hugh impact on my life. The people and friends i met, the language Im learing for 3 years now, the importance of good food and eating together, danish 'hygge', the significance of light and fresh air in your daily living. It showed me that Im not an unsporty person, but rather a 'motion person', so i prefere sports which demand my body and soul.
Copenhagen helped me connecting my different interest- architecture and social affairs and is also the reason I choosed my master in Leipzig and attend the Copenhagen Summer School in August 2016. I'm quiet in Love with this city ;-)

I love cooking and eating together with friends, especially long breakfasts and dinners. I try to keep an eye on organic and local food, although my student budget doesn't allow me all the time. I get moody (nothing against you) if i haven't eat enough and I'm lost without my waterbottle!
I started to reduce plastic in my daily living, buy more second hand and minimize my stuff to better-quality and long lasting, really need things (although to be honest- its still a long way to reach that goal!).
I don't drink alcohol or coffe, but I love Tea. I'm mad about any kind of plants and flowers and Botanic Gardens and Parks!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am attending the summer school Urban Culture in Theory and Action from 08th August til 20th August 2016 at KU and searching for a room from 14th August on. I would like to stay a little longer, maybe until the 25th, cause my summer school gonna be pretty intensiv (morning til late afternoon- I didn't get my schedule so fare) and I'd love to spend a little bit of freetime in my favorite city.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love music. But usually I can't remeber title nore interpretate or genre. So help me a little and show me your favorite music ;-)

My favorite book is a book I bought for myself when i was probaly 12. Its a fictitious lovestory in the old Egypt- no idea why i read this book around 10 times (and will probably read it once again). I like reading but at the moment i'm working at my masterthesis, so no time for private reading.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Living in Copenhagen as an exchange student in fall semester 2012/13, although i was super disappointed in the beginning, not going to Sweden for Erasmus, it was the best time of my live!

What i wanna do: Make an Alvar Aalto tour to Finland and travel to Island.

Teach, Learn, Share
