We are Marie and Jim, a young couple from Belgium.

Jim is a bio engineer and I studied psychology of work and I have worked as an employer branding specialist.

After our studies, we are now travelling to see what life has to offer. After exploring the map, we came to the conclusion that Australia is the destination which matches the most with our expectations: beautiful places, diversity of landscapes, welcoming people and nice mentality.

Our greatest common point is our passion and love for animals and nature. Jim has always lived in a farm with many horses, sheep and dogs. Our positive attitude, calm and empathy help us connect with animals but also with people. 

We are looking for adventure, beautiful places, but also meeting nice people. Joining the couchsurfing community is for us a great opportunity to meet local people and develop new skills.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Our last crazy adventure was our trip to Tasmania: good weather, nice people, amazing wildlife and good trekking !
