I am a french student in political science, and this year, I'm studying in Hull, England for my Erasmus year. I am passionate by travelling, seeing new countries and approach many different customs and cultures.
I'm a sportive woman, that's why I practise rugby, volleyball, jogging and bike.
I love scoutism also : I have been a scout girl for 11 years now. During all these years, I learned how to be an independent, respectful and liable person. Camping with other scout boys and scout girls have made me someone who loves spending time with other people, who love sharing culture and experiences. I learned that meeting is what makes life beautiful.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I love meeting others, sharing my culture and discover others. I would like meeting people and visiting new places. The contact with the locals is authentic and that's what I am looking for. Contrary to a hotel, being hosted by a local person is very enriching : not only we discover other people, but also it is a good way to discover some local treasures which are not known from tourists !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

With my family (mother, father, two sisters and one brother), we used to travel all around Europe by bike ! During the summer, we went to Spain, Germany, Italy, and France. That was amazing ! Usually, we used to cycle between 60 and 70 km/day ! 3 weeks of bike trip each summer, 1300km, and we could have discovered new areas, new cultures. My parents are members of the association "Servas", whose concept is quite the same as Couchsurfing : to promote peace around the world, people from different countries can meet and share their houses and offer their hospitality. Thanks to people who agreed to welcome us during our bike trips, I discovered how kind and generous people are when they receive other people who share the same vision of a peaceful world ! We discovered a lot of people, and in return, we welcomed a lot of traveller in our home.
That was a experience I will never forget, that's why I would like to do the same with couchsurfing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to give them a little picture of our lifestyle, my personnality and that we can exchange about our experiences. I desire to share more than a night by this couchsurfing. The most important is to discuss, to create new links : sharing is essential in my vision of life.
