I love nature, hiking, camping, meditation, spirituality, knitting, sewing and crafting. Learning about health and wellness and working on all aspects of my business (my acupuncture practice) is as much a hobby for me as camping and knitting are. I live with my husband of 12 years, Brad, an architect.

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing from a friend who hosts alot. He brought his guest out with us one night and it was so fun and fascinating. I thought it would be fun to start doing. I also want to travel more and am not hung up on needing to stay in hotels.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

When I was in the Peace Corps in Ghana I organized a 5,000 person village to repair and manage their underground water pumps essentially getting them on their way to having their own self-run water agency.

I am also super proud of the work I do with acupuncture: severe low back pain that was going to need surgery but went away with acupuncture, placenta previa causing intense bleeding and possible, risky, premature birth carried to 38 weeks with herbs and acupuncture.
