Overview
About Me
I've spent most of my life in Georgia, but I've grown up in nearly every region of the U.S. (Pennsylvania, Texas, Florida, California, and Oregon). I love history and culture, and I have a Bachelors degree from Valdosta State Univeristy where I was in a national service fraternity (Alpha Phi Omega). I've had the travel bug since I was a little kid when my mom used to take my sisters and I on cross country road trips to California to visit family. I spend a lot of time doing random activities with friends (trivia, music festivals, white water rafting, kayaking, thrift shopping, chilling at museums, eating food... Lots of food, and going to fun arcade bars) or sleeping in my spare time. I'm very go with the flow, so I don't often plan the minute details of a trip. I like to see where life takes me. As a flight attendant, I'm always up for spur of the moment travel and exploration.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Now that I'm in my mid-twenties with an awesome job, I really want to explore the world. I want to step out of my comfort zone, meet new people, and really experience the everyday lives of people in different regions. I want to eat good food, explore cities, and climb mountains. I want to live a life of adventure and step away from the mundane. Having a local to point me in the right direction would really help to avoid the tourist traps (not that they are all bad).
Interests
I love watching documentaries/reality shows about the human experience (intervention, an idiot abroad, food inc.); I love anime, and have staffed Anime Weekend Atlanta for 10 years; I love history and exploring historical sites that involve war or social movements; I like to read fantasy, sci-if, and mystery lit; I really might be addicted to fancy coffees; nightlife; food...all food...bring me the food; anything I can do outdoors with friends (swimming, biking, hiking, picnics, kayaking, white water rafting, zip lining); but most of all sleep. I love sleep..

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a lot of pop music, but I also like very mellow music, country, r&b, some rap, and alternative.
I'm midway through the Harry potter series, but I'm a kid at heart and will always love the Wizard of Oz and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once ochestrated a trip where 24 people stayed in one condo on Panama City Beach for a weekend my first year of college. Not only was it crazy fun, but I don't think I'll ever be able to recreate that weekend, or those experiences again. I did love my favorite claddagh ring that weekend though.
