Well, I´m creative, spontaneous, I am interested in people, their stories and in trying to do something good. I love my live and I´m so thankful for everything for the opportunities I have and I love to share =)

ABOUT ME

I am a midwife working in Heidelberg, I live in my flat together with my roommate who is a social worker and we love guests. I have been backpacking a lot and I am an adventurous, interested and creative traveller. One day I hope I can go abroad and work as a midwife in a developing country.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, we have four sleeping spaces, and two of them are on our pretty big couch, feel welcome to stay over =)
We live in in the town Bruchsal, which is 20 minutes by public transport from Karlsruhe and Heidelberg and maybe an hour from the Baden Airport and Stuttgart. It is a nice little town with a famous castle but I guess the closeness to Heidelberg makes it actually special, I also work in Heidelberg. There is plenty of stuff to do in the area, as it is pretty central and everything in the south of Germany is easy to reach, especially the Black Forest (where I grew up).

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Well, my best story is probably, that I got hired as a crew member (cooking and cleaning) on a boat crossing the Carrabean Ocean on my way from Panama to Colombia, because I did not have any money to actually pay for the trip. Unfortunately the journey ended by us getting rescued by a huge cargo ship, because first our engine broke down and the day after our main sail...so we spent a night floating around without navigating, trying to contct the coast guard, but nobody heard our signals...

A loooot of wisdom =) Jokes aside...wine, food, accomodation, travel stories, social awareness and we will figure the rest out. I guess it is the unexpected things, that sometimes touch us...
