Overview
About Me
I'm a registered nurse with a passion for living life abundantly! I've moved countries a few times this year, but I'm looking to settle down for a bit in France in 2019 and the near future! ^^
I love to read, travel, cook, eat and listen, and none of that is likely to change, no matter what country I live in.
We live in such a large and diverse world, it would be a pity to never at least try to discover a part of it, one adventure at a time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it's important to give as you have received so I will try my best to share my stories, recipes, kindness and open ears as others have done for me. This is becoming a bit of a classic, oft-repeated slogan for many travellers, but I like to go a little off the beaten track and experience whatever place I'm visiting, through the perspective of those who live there. I'd rather eat a waffle in Brussels and crickets in Thailand than the other way around!
Interests
Such a broad subject!
Travelling, discovering new cultures, new foods and ways of living and of seeing life...
Cooking, especially with and for others!
Living a more socially and environmentally conscious way of life: living zero waste, eating mostly plant-based, whole foods, buying local as much as possible etc..

Music, Movies, and Books
My favourite anything seems to change on a weekly basis! Right now iTunes tells me that my most played song is Tequila by The Champs, my favourite book is and has always been the Faraway Tree Stories by Enid Blyton, and I don't really have a favourite movie, though there are many I like...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you...
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you to cook or bake French and Irish food, and even a little Lao food, amongst other things and how to tie a Turk's head knot. This knot makes for a pretty cool key ring and will make sure your keys never sink if they fall in the water!
Learn: I'm an avid learner of languages. I'm learning Italian, I've learnt some basic Lao recently and I want to learn whatever you can teach me! I try to learn the basics of the language of each country I visit, plus a few extras! I'd love to hear more about your city and its hidden gems. :) I feel like the memories I'm keeping of these travels are not of the places I see but the people I meet and the things I do and learn, so anything memorable will do the job!
Share: I can share with you my love for Jesus, Irish tea, good food and adventure... And how to do some origami!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook up a storm, teach you old granny remedies for pretty much anything, entertain you with some crazy stories or teach you some cool games like "spit" (it's a card game that involves absolutely no saliva whatsoever, I promise)!
