About Me
Hey,
After a year in the USA, I am back in France to finish my studies in fashion design.
I think traveling is a good way to learn languages, to learn different cultures and to open its mind.
I am the kind of person who thinks that the life is too short to regret anything, so "Carpe Diem".
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
After traveling during a year I am stuck here to finish my studies so if I can't travel, I am gonna make the travel come to me!
Interests
My principals interest are traveling, photography, sport, art, movies, fashion exposition...
I have a blog for all the cities I have visited in the US: mariesdreamfactory.tumblr.com
My philosophy:
The First Principle states:
“Whomsoever you encounter is the right one”
This means that no one comes into our life by chance. Everyone who is around us, anyone with whom we interact, represents something, whether to teach us something or to help us improve a current situation.
The Second Principle states:
“Whatever happened is the only thing that could have happened”
Nothing, absolutely nothing of that which we experienced could have been any other way. Not even in the least important detail. There is no “If only I had done that differently…, then it would have been different…”. No. What happened is the only thing that could have taken place and must have taken place for us to learn our lesson in order to move forward. Every single situation in life, which we encounter, is absolutely perfect, even when it defies our understanding and our ego.
The Third Principle states:
“Each moment in which something begins is the right moment”
Everything begins at exactly the right moment, neither earlier nor later. When we are ready for it, for that something new in our life, it is there, ready to begin.
This is the Fourth Principle, the final one:
“What is over, is over”
It is that simple. When something in our life ends, it helps our evolution. That is why, enriched by the recent experience, it is better to let go and move on.
I think it is no coincidence that you’re here reading this.
If these words strike a chord, it’s because you meet the requirements and understand that not one single snowflake falls accidentally in the wrong place!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love to many kind of music to have a favorite one.
My favorite movie is "Finding Neverland" from Marc Forster
And for the books I like the love stories from Guillaume Musso.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been living during 6 months in Germany and I just come back from a year in the USA as an au pair.
Learning the "It is what it is" American notion. It can seem stupid for some of you, but French people are making a big deal of everything! And when you get the "It was it is" your life becomes a lot easier.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach French, German, knitting, sewing...
Learn: I am curious and love to learn as much as possible, so what ever it is, it always good to take.
Share: The french Culture (I could do crepes!), may be the german's culture a little bit too.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will be delighted to share the french culture, the french dishes, french music, french movies...
