I'm a 25 yo girl from Brussels. I quit my job and decided to use this opportunity to travel, explore the world and meet new people. I traveled for 8 months in Asia and New Zealand and decided to go on WHV in Canada.
I like to travel out of the touristic spots, by Hitchhiking and couchsurfing for example,

My first long trip changed me a lot, made me more conscient about the environment and more tolerant. I'm now trying to be as respectful as possible for the planet and trying to "give something" to everyone I cross on my road, just as the people I met gave me advices, tips or friendship, and finally made my travel so great!

I really love to be outdoor, this is where I feel the best. Climbing, hiking or just playing guitar around a camp fire with some friends are some activities that make me happy every time !

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Basically, because « Happiness is only real when shared ». I like to meet new people to share some moments during my trips, it makes them so more fun and interesting !
And it's so much better to meet locals to discover the real country :-) Especially for my trip in Canada, I really wanna discover the real Canadian way of life !

For the moment I don't have my own home, and I'm not always able to accept guest, but I'll do it with pleasure when possible ! Also , if I'm available, I would be happy to let you discover some places that I like in Belgium :)

I'm quiet open-minded and I listen about almost everything, with a preference for « alternative » musics.
I basically read the books that I find when I'm travelling !

After a youth camp I was in charge of, a teenager, participant of the camp, send me a message to tell me that "Our discussions under the stars changed her life, cause telling her my travel stories opened her mind to new adventures, and made her realize that everything is possible."

Giving something like this to the people I meet is for me the best gift !

Sharing experience is for me the main goal of couchusurfing ! I'd be happy to cook, share a bottle of wine and talk about everything :-) I'm also travelling with my guitarlele so I'd be happy to teach you some basics or play some music with you (I'm a bad singer though ! )
