I love to travel. When I was young, my parents traveled around the world with my sister and me. Until I was five years old we drove by a T1 Volkswagen in countries like France, Denmark, Norway, Greece, Italy and Croatia. After that time we got a new -bigger- car and could travel in countries, which are far away. So we startet seeing Finland, Ireland, Israel, Jordan, Syrian, the US, Marocco and Iceland. I am so thankful that my parents showed my a part of the world and they influenced me, so I started traveling by myself in the summer 2011. My first trip was to New Zealand- two months alone with the bus or hitchhiking. That was an amazing time and I get thrilled by traveling. Over the next years I visited the middle of Amercia (Guatemala, Nicaragua, Honduras and Costa Rica) and also the southeast of Asia (Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia).
In 2016 I started working as a teacher, so I hadn't so much time left for traveling. Last octobre I was with a campervan on Sicily and this year in spring I flew to Mexico.
Mostly I travel alone with my backpack and I love to come in touch with some local people.

Beside traveling I realy like to cook and to take care of my plants in my flat, because I think plants make a home more alive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When you travel, then you learn a lot about the country. You try the typical food, you see famous places, you do great activities ... but the things, you will remember the most, when you talk later about the vacation, it will be the encounters with the people and the wonderful conversations.
