I am an Australian young woman, finding her way in life!

I am very new to Couch Surfing. Most of my overseas travel was while I studied in Denmark so I met a lot of different people through my studies and didn't end up using Couch Surfing. I am very excited to try Couch Surfing, can see myself loving it and hosting others in my home town in the future!

This trip to South America is extremely last minute!!!! I planned a 3 month trip in the space of 3 weeks!!!

I've always wanted to travel to South America for the culture, dancing, food and history. Beyond that, I'm very open to embrace what travel and life in general has to offer!

I love meeting new people, learning new things and sharing in vibrant experiences.

I really want to meet interesting people to learn and share new experiences with. Solo travel allows me the freedom and opportunity to explore my true interests and learn from others.

Interesses

I love love love to cook. My speciality is Sri Lankan curries and I plan on packing some spice mixes to share my skills and recipes with anyone who is keen!

I love to be active - riding bicyles, walking all day, hiking, lifting weights, but most of all DANCING. I grew up dancing classical ballet, I regularly take Zumba and other dance fitness classes at my local gym. I'm very interested in throwing myself into the wide and wonderful world of Latin American dancing! Salsa, samba, bachata, merengue! You name it, I'm willing to give it a go!

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love to read books - fiction mostly, some of my favourite books of all time are Power of One, Lord of the Flies, Catcher in the Rye, Lovely Bones, Atonement and The Sunset Limited. I also enjoy non-fiction - history of the Middle East, Emotional Intelligence and how the brain works - just to name a few.

I love all kinds of music. My tastes are wide and varied. I love folk, rock, pop, world music - JUST EVERYTHING REALLY. My family reared me around music my whole life. I can sing decently and would love to throw myself into dance and music during my travels.
