About Me
Hey there. It's me, Julia.
Well.. How to describe myself best?
I am an open minded girl from Munich, just moved to Cologne for my University and fell in love with this amazing city immediately.
Oh... I do not drink alcohol, because I hate the taste of it. Neither do I use drugs. I don't need any of it as creazy as I am anyways. But I don't mind if you do :)
I grew up without a TV and still don't have or want any. I rather use my time to explore, get to know people, spent time with my little crew or get creative. There's always something to do in my life and if there's a free spot in my calendar (which is a paper book calendar and not my phone) I will change that for sure.
Life is a game. And I am addicted.
I want to live every second of it and see what you get as a price!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I go traveling, what I do a lot, I do not just want to see the buildings and nature but experience as much about the countrie's culture as possible. And that is easiest if you are in contact with locals themselves.
And if there is no time or money to travel you can learn a lot from your cs guests without even leaving your hometown.
Interests
I love bouldering, mountain biking, ice skating, fitness and running and look forward to try new sports.
Life without dancing... Not for me.
Neither it works without my longboard.
Nature means a lot to me as well. I wonder if I will ever get enough of sunsets, but I guess that'll never happen.
Furthermore I enjoy cooking, baking and chocolate art, reading and writing (story telling), hot air ballooning, flying, drawing and (of course) traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books
Different moods, different music ;)
There is music for every part of the day.
And I could not imagine a life without it!
Please tell me your favorite chocolate in your request, so I know you read my profile :)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There have been a lot of amazing things I have done.
One of them was my trip to Cambodia where I taught in schools in the middle of the jungle.
We slept in hammocks and had rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The children were not just our students but our friends.
Their smiles made me happy every single day.
During my trip I also took part at the Angkor Wat Half Marathon, which was an amazing adventure!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would love to teach you any of my hobbies, my favorite recipes or how to make chocolates.
You want to learn some German basics, no problem for me ;)
I want to learn French and Spanish, but am interested in any other language basics!
I am also interested in Photography, but not very experienced yet.
If you have any other skill or sport to teach me... I can't wait to do so.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'd love to share some of my favorite recipes. Good stories and free time.
And I most often have chocolate with me which I can share, too.
