About Me

Hi guys! Please note I'm moving out of the UK, planning my next life adventure... So won't be able to host anyone from now on. Will be back soin ;)

CURRENT MISSION

Get on with a new professional adventure I've started in March 2016 in the UK ;)

ABOUT ME

Originally from Brittany, France, I used to study and live in Berlin during 4 years, then moved back to France to finish my study in HR and start working in Lyon.
With 19, I came to Berlin first of all because I loved speaking german and because I needed new challenges. I finally stayed in Berlin 4 years because I felt great enjoying its fundamentally open, uncomplicated, easy way of life.
I'm still looking for new places and people to discover. I need myself to feel free to move forward and to change, able to gran All opportunities to fulfil my personal wishes and dreams.

PHILOSOPHY

I am hungry of discovering, learning, meeting and exchanging... So much that in order to feel replete, I belong probably to that kind of 'hyperactive people of our times' ;)! Even so, I can stop, sometimes... For a milk-coffee break & a piece of chocolate cake with a good friend, for a one hour reading of an enthralling book on a rainy sunday afternoon, or for a discussion at night with friends about life and the big big passionating World...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I experienced firstly wwoofing with 18 in the South of France with 2 other friends, sweet novice backpackers in their own country :P!
Then CS for a week-end in Leipzig and Dresden (Germany), and recently in Greece and Portugal where I loved switching between hostels and couchsurfers' homes, both bringing wonderful experiences, surprises and very nice (until now!) human encounters!

Interests

I am a dancer since I am 3 years old. I used to dance in my parents' kitchen, in the bathroom, the garden, later on in jazz dance classes. Inbetween I passed my jazz dance teacher exam, worked one year in a French jazz company, teached almost 2 years. Right now I am just enjoying dancing for myself! Tried forró during my last trip in Brasil: amazing fun!!
I like sport in general, fitness and running especially. Everything about movement contents me!
I love art, from cinema to painting, photography and opera.
And cooking (and eating!!), even more with some friends and a good bottle of wine :)! Vegetables are almost a passion though, because of he variety of colours, and ways to cook them, raw, grilled, boiled, even in cakes sometimes... Kind of a veggies' playground I enjoy playing in!

Music, Movies, and Books

Paula Coehlo, Herman Hesse and Haruki Murakami's books are my favorites! I love thrillers on holiday, and books about religion, anthropology and philosophy when I feel being more serious ;)
With music, I am quite open. A good beat for dancing on and I am happy :). Though I have a weakness for old jazz and electro-jazzy sounds (Ella Fitzgerald, BBKing, Ray Charles, Duke Ellington, Jazzanova, Fat Freddies Drop, Joss Stone, Mr Scruff, Cody ChesnuTT, C2C, etc. etc.)
About movies... Well, I love until my childhood musical comedies. But since, I do my best for expanding my cinematic cultivation ;). So I probably saw all 'good' movies of the last 5 years, and appart from going so much I (and my coin holder...) can to the cinema, I discovered a few weeks ago an amazing international movies collection in a video shop, I planned to have a closer look at!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watch the sunset on Rio de Janeiro from the top of the Ipacu hill
Eat every morning sticky marinated bamboo leaves for breakfast in Mali during 1 month
Sleep 2 nights in the peaceful Moroccan valley of roses in Boulmane du Dadès while hiking
Riding a horse in a middle of storm on a British coast (and feeling totally desperate)
Etc...

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Mali, Martinique, Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Réunion, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Germany, United Kingdom
