Overview
About Me
I grew up in Québec city, but I now live in Montréal (Canada). I would say I am a curious and sociable person, I like to laugh and enjoy hanging with friends, either for brunch or for a pint! I've been a bike-enthusiast for a few years now and use it as my main mean of transportation. When I'm not at a café or at the library to read and write for my master's, you might find me at a feminist or anti-austerity protest or practising yoga.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am new to the Couchsurfing community and have been reticent to join since my current housing arrangements don't allow me to host someone. However, many of my friends have been using couchsurfing when they travel and most of them report having had a great experience.
Also, travelling for me means visiting the main historical and cultural sites (of course!), but mostly having an opportunity to immerse yourself in a new culture and I feel couchsurfing would be a great way to do that.
Interests

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm terrible at remembering any movie or song titles, but I love music (need my daily dose!) of any kind (except electro) - currently ma favorites are The Black Keys, Chet Faker, Pierre Lapointe, Radio Radio, Muse. As for books, my all-time favorites include "L'écume des jours", "Cyrano de Bergerac", "Eureka Street", "Waiting for Godot"...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Field-work research in Northern Ireland with pro-choice activists there. It probably sounds very geeky, but it was an amazing experience both academically and personally.
Teach, Learn, Share
Yes to all three... with a mindset of friendly curiosity!
