About Me
Hey! I am a bilingual French Canadian from Montreal (near), Canada. And yes, I do LOVE snow and winter! ;) I am a 23-year-old student in an exchange program to learn German at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. I would say I have a bubbly personality and I am a kind and friendly person not looking for trouble or partying. I am fairly quiet and I usually wake up early and come back "home" not too late. / I am truly sorry for not accepting anyone, but I currently live in a single dorm with only one bed. One more thing, I love food! If you have recipes to share, I will gladly write them down (or take a picture)!
Side Note: I am terrified of bugs (bedbugs, spiders, other creepy insects) and I like clean places. I love dogs (even more the big ones!) and I also like cats. So if you have pets, especially a big dog, your dog will have a new friend ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I am a student with a small budget. Travelling while on exchange is quite expensive! Transportation, food, museums and other attractions are not budget-friendly. I want to travel a lot during my stay in Germany, so if I can save money, that would be great! My friend recommended me CouchSurfing as a cheaper alternative to youth hostels. Plus, if I can learn about a new culture, what's not to like?!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am open to all music although Heavy Metal is not my cup of tea... I enjoy pop, instrumental, classical, opera, jazz, country, indie, etc. And I would be glad to know your favourite music too! As for movies, well I am more of a series person who likes binge watching on Netflix. I used to love reading, but with all the university readings and papers, I don't read many novels anymore. If you have any suggestions, I'll take notes!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once did sky diving when I was about 14 years old. It was truly amazing and thrilling!
Teach, Learn, Share
I would like to practice my German, as I am in Germany to become fluent in German. Of course, if you speak at least one other common language with me, it would really be appreciated!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can help you practice your English, French, Spanish and Italian. I am a little rusty in Italian, but I can have a conversation :)
