Hi everyone,

I'm Marie a 29 yrs French girl who loves people, travel and nature. I am queer, LGBTQIA+ and my way of traveling encounters these dynamics

I travel for for five months in South America : went through Brazil for 2 months passing by the marvelous Nordeste, Maranhao. It was an amazing experience meeting locals and confronting myself to different cultures and environment. I had crazy time. I am planning to go back in Brazil to Jelapao or Amazonas because I want to connect more with nature and I want to help locals f possible in this area.

Then, I discovered Argentina. Buenos Aires : la bomba del tiempo, asado and And I hitchhicked all the way down into Patagonia Lands. Discovering the amazing El Bolson, el Chalten.

My wish is not to do everything but to meet you guys, the most precious of treasure of traveling. Exchanging and taking the time !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The essence of travelling resides in meeting people, discovering new cultures and habits by connecting with the locals. Couchsurfing seems then the best way to combine all these factors together ! Sharing a bite, jokes and our differences or what gather us is how I see couchsurfing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first trip on my own with my wheelchair in Norway in 2012: in full winter discovering the beauty of nature and people I had an amazing experience.

Also my year abroad in Dublin as an Erasmus student was an tremendous experience that I will forget about :)

Now it's a new challenge for me : I left my wheelchair and I'm now travelling solo only with my crutches. I can't wait !
