I am a creative person who loves travelling and meeting new people! I like to see and experience nature and I can be easily entertained with long walks and good talks.
I've grown up quite protected and taken care of and now I want to see and enjoy the world for myself without the parental protection I am so used to!

I've just finished High School and I decided to take a gap year afterwards. I rarely found myself being stimulated by the way the current school system teaches and felt I needed a break. Until February 2016 I've worked for Priva UK which is an amazing company with a close group of people working for it and from the beginning of March I have started travelling around together with my boyfriend, Joep.
Since I started working at Priva UK I have started studying some subjects out of free will and interest and I am currently hooked on programming, mainly Python, and a bookkeeping course. Every now and then I try to teach myself a bit of Spanish... but it is not really a language I am good at yet.

I am also absolutely in for watching interesting movies and series and I watch loads of them. I've started Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Pretty Little Liars and loads of animes like Fairy Tail.

I am interested in the ideas of other people and their views on common and uncommon matters. I can be quite chatty but I am also fine with peaceful silence and 'doing-your-own-thing' atmosphere. My boyfriend is very chatty only! :)

I love playing the piano and one song that strikes me as particularly enchanting is Scarborough Fair. I've been playing this tune for over three years now and have tried it in all kinds of manners and I still did not get bored of it. Every now and then I try to play the guitar as well, but I can't manage more than a few chords.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite music is any kind of music really. The only kind of music I usually don't like is hard metal with a lot of screaming and grunting. I think the best way to describe the kind of music I like is music that has any kind of recognisable feeling in it.
I have so many movies that I could say are favourite, that I will just mention some movies that left an astonishing impression on me. The movie 'The Book of Eli' left me absolutely speechless, like the movie 'Avatar' as well. The movies are absolutely confronting and I love the in-your-face element in them.
