I am a very open and likable person and I love to get to know interesting new people. I joke and laugh a lot and love dark humour.
My family and my friends are very important to me and I love that I can always count on them the same way they can always count on me. Which sounds awfully cheesy but is still true :)
I study medicine, which is my big passion, especially seeing people as a whole and not separating mind, body and soul all the time.
I think it is important to keep up on what happens in the world around you and not just watch but take action in the ways that are reasonable and possible for me.
At the moment I am travelling South America with my Boyfriend, we spent 6 weeks in Patagonia and are now making our way north through Bolivia and Peru to Columbia.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I joined Couch surfing because a few years ago me and my best friend, that I met when we were 3, were travelling Eastern Europe from Berlin all the way down to Athens as our 20th anniversary trip :D Now I'm discovering South America with my boyfriend. I really enjoy not only getting to know the countries I'm in but also the people and their lives, habits and aspirations.

Intereses

I find lots of things very interesting, but university sadly does not always leave me the time to engage in all of them.. First of all I love singing, I have been in choirs most of my life, currently in an a capella pop choir. Also I play violin, viola and piano. I enjoy meeting up with my friends, cooking together, going dancing, having picknicks, hanging out in cafes, whatever we feel like. I like to go rock climbing and bouldering, both indoor and outdoor and do regular running, swimming and cycling. I would like to meditate more regularly, but I find it very difficult to stick to it..
And last but not least of course I like to travel and to get to know different parts of the world and the people there :)

Música, películas y libros

I listen to music basically at all times and wherever I go. Because it is such a big part of my life I like to get a glimpse at many different kinds of music ranging from classics and jazz to rock, pop, indie and electro. At the moment I listen a lot to the electronic soundtrack of Berlin :)
I really enjoy books that are so addictive you spend every minute reading them or that make you laugh out loud in public places.
I love watching a good movie or a captivating series or documentary to relax after a stressful day :)

Algo increíble que he hecho

A few years back I was in Northern Italy with some friends and somehow decided to climb a mountain at 2am so we would see the sunrise from the top. It was very scary because there were lots of sleepy cows on the way up but it was so worth it. Most beautiful sunset I have ever seen!

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I speak German, English, Italian and a little French and Spanish, and I am happy to practice these or to help you practice. I love to get to know food from other countries and am happy to cook for you the meals I like most.
Also I like handcraft, building and fixing things with the possibilities at hand.

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

I am very down-to-earth and am happy to make my stay less of an effort for you e.g. cooking for you etc. I would like to get to know the city with you or to share travel advice, but if you are busy I totally understand and will surely have a great time as well :)
