Hey, I'm Marie, 26 years old and living and studying in Saarbrücken since fall 2022.
I love travelling, discovering and meeting new people. After school I did Work and Travel in Canada which I really enjoyed, also thanks to the many great couchsurfers and hosts I got to know there:)
After I studied in Hamburg for 4 years (great city and a definite must visit!) and also lived in Finland and Cyprus for a few months which also were great experiences, I now continue studying in Saarbrücken. Even if I would love to return the favour of having a great host during your travels, I unfortunately still have to wait for that since I only live in a really smalls tudent room and can not really have guests... Buut if you want to meet up and discover the Saarland together I am definitely up for it!:)

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

Because I can't imagine a better oportunity to meet new people with the same passion for travelling, share experiences and lifestyles and have some fun while exploring new places together with locals.

Zainteresowania

I am interested in a lot of things and am happy about everything new I can try, see or learn! But I would say that my main interest at home is painting and being creative. I also like reading, just meeting friends (and new people who may become new friends), play the fiddle (not very good but it's fun) and my favourite sports are badminton, swimming and volleyball.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

And again I can't really decide on one genre:
For movies I like funny, scary and adventurous movies the most as well as sometimes the good old disneyp movies.
When I get the time to read (which should definitely be more often) I like distopian and fantasy books as well as scary ones and sometimes when I'm in the mood even romatic storys.
The music I am listening to is mostly (alternative) rock, as I for example really like Skillet, Shinedown or Avantasia, but I also listen to Pop, soft metal, indie, 80s and sometimes even classic.

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Maybe it's not that spectacular, but the most amazing thing I have ever done is in mine opinion is a spontaneous paragliding flight in Austria. I love flying and there I never felt as free again as in the sky 1.400m above the lake!
