ABOUT ME

I love going new places and meeting new people with different backgrounds and cultures. I enjoy experiencing other cultures where people's mentality is different. I find that other mentalities give a new perspective to the things you already think you know. I also enjoy going home once in a while but only to find out that I haven't been away long enough :)
I'm a very easygoing person and love being around people. I find that cooking together with friends and acquaintances is one of the best ways of hanging out.
I come from a medium size town and have since I've been abroad got more and more in to living in the countryside in beautiful surroundings close to either mountains or seaside. I easily feel at home most places but it definitely depends on the people around me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

First time I couchsurfed was a great experience. It was over a weekend in Paris with a friend and the guy hosting us was brilliant at showing us around and making us feel really welcome. Although we only spent 2 days in his and his friends' company it was very strange saying good bye, as if to a good friend.
My next experiences of couchsurfing have been in New Zealand where I've only met lovely people who are very much open to letting new people in to their homes.
As soon as I get a proper place to host people, I'll be on as a host!

Music, Movies, and Books

Love lots of different music but for the last couple of years I've been mostly interested in reggae, dub, world music, hip hop, jazz.. Lee scratch perry, fat freddy's drop, alice russell, hocus pocus, manu chao etc..
I love films and enjoy quentin tarantino's, studio ghibli and so many others..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Saw a gang of mental, raving cows making the streets unsafe at night in street in India. Was a bit bizar and aspired a bit of paranoia against cows.
And I did a wee bit of skydiving in New Zealand, whoop whoop!
