I am Marie from the Baltic Sea! That rhymes - yay!
I'm glad you found to my profile and I am happy to tell a bit about me.

I live in Germany and currently try to find ways to live a more free life and travel around.

This life is currently taking me to some interesting places and I am moved by my passion of learning.
I am a lot into yoga, movement and meditation. I am working as a yoga teacher, even though my studies were directed to Agricultural Sciences. There I was able to learn about one topic that has become a big part of my life: climate change and environmental protection. I wanted to and still want to learn more about growing food, sustainability and protecting our nature.

To me, all these topics have a very similar core which is rooted in the world's current economic systems. I like to think and speak about ways of alternative living and solutions to basically safe the world. :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling and just discovered alternative ways to travel: Through communities, projects, volunteering and also through people who kindly offer their homes.
I love to connect and dive into other life-realities.

I am an open-minded person who likes conversations and connection just as much as being introverted and independently by myself. Whatever suits the situation. :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This spring I was in my first volunteering-experience: Gardening in Ängbacka's Festival & Coursegard Centre in Sweden. It is a place that is intending to create a vision of humans relating in the most authentic way and growing personally through experiences.
During this time I got many insights of myself, my ways of relating and communicating.

I am always happy to dive deeper in these topics. They move me alot.
