ABOUT ME

I am open-minded, interested in other cultures, love to dance (especially Israeli folk dances).
After having studied law, I discovered, that this was not what I wanted to do during the rest of my life. So I decided to study again and become a primary school teacher. At the same time, I have been working at a language school, teaching German to students from all over the world, who want to study at university in Germany.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Australia in July 2007 and stayed with several people from CouchSurfing. It was my first cs-experience and it was great!! The people I met were lovely and made me feel at home at their place.

Interests

Playing the violin and the guitar, dance Israeli folk dances, read (when I have time...), sometimes go to the cinema or the theatre, meet friends and of course traveling.

I like to listen to classic music, but also jazz, French songs, argentinian folcloric music, klezmer....

Teach, Learn, Share

I can give information about what is worth being visited in Frankfurt and surroundings and if possible share some of my time in order to accompany people round the town.
I like to learn and talk about other cultures and habits and explain visitors something about Germany and its culture or history if they are interested.
Besides I like cooking. So maybe we could have a culinary exchange and cook together.
If anyone is interested in language exchange I can also teach a little German....

What I Can Share with Hosts

My flat and some of my time if possible.... Although many people think that primary school teacher tend to be home early, there always is a lot of work to do at school. That means that I often won't be home before 18 h on working days. So I'd prefer to host on weekends.
