About Me
Hi !
My name is Marie-Eve, I'm a french Canadian from the province of Quebec, Canada. At the moment, I'm living in Quebec City, studying at Laval University.
I studied in Tourism in College and I'm finishing my diploma in Humans Resources / Industrial Relations at Laval University. My goal is to work in IT industry as a human resources specialist or recruiter.
I graduate at the end of the month (30 April) and want to see a little piece of the world.
I love festivals and anything that have a mystery behind it.
If I can describe me in three words I’ll say : optimistic, organized and really curious. And… well, I talk a lot :P
I always dream to see the world since I’m young and never really had the chance.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to see everything and learn about all different cultures. I have a really long bucket list !
I also want to get a chance to practice my second language, English and to meet new people :). People know their country best ! I want to discovered the best places, sometimes hidden!

- Festivals
I looooooove music ! Everything from classical to heavy metal. (I'm just not a big fan of hip hop ;) )
I'm a bit of a geek, I love reading science-fiction and fantasy novels. I also play some board games and video games when I have some free time alone or with some friends. I'm currently working in a board games restaurant-pub. In brief, my job is to explain game rules and help people play :) (that’s a nice student job !). I also watch a loooot of TV shows from all around the worlds (yay, also a big fan of Game of Thrones here … XD).
I can be a geek, but I also love to take some time outside, I really love to take a long walk to discover a new location. I used to play volleyball and swim a lot before University.
I love cooking AND eating, I can eat every hour of the day (I have a reputation to keep ! I’m always the one eating in our classes). I can’t say no to chocolate and to new pastries I never try (the big cookies in Boston are so delicious!). But, I’m lactose intolerant and really love butter chicken, my tummy don’t really love me :P.
