About Me
CURRENT MISSION
See a bit of the world, through local people's eyes, enjoy family when at home
ABOUT ME
I have traveled most of 2012, going around for pretty much 7 months. I've started with S-E Asia (HK, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Bali, Singapore... Philippines) and then back in Europe for a month or so, then off to Canada/USA where I went to NYC, Boston, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, SF to LA via Pacific Hwy and did a loop in parks around Lake Powell and also visited Death Valley and Yosemite.
Since pretty much March 2015 I've been away from home. I've visited New Zealand for about 5 weeks, then Western Australia for about 2 months. After that I settled in Brisbane for 5-6 months, before going 1,5 month around in a campervan, from Cairns to Melbourne and back to Brisbane. Then I visited some South Pacific islands : Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Polynesia. After that I went to the USA for a few months and see a few friends to visit new parts of the country.
I returned home early September and am now settling in Lyon, currently trying to find a place to live so I cannot host!
If you want to meet up anywhere tell me! If you need information help you around in France or Belgium, don't hesitate to contact me.
I loooooove to travel, it's so great to discover places and most of all the people there, with their own culture an all. I'm also happy when I have the chance to show people around my hometown or living town, give them some insights and just have some fun :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only CS once, with my sister we were hosted in Barcelona for a weekend. Carolina was great, she kindly showed us a bit around and we had dinners together. Since my sister had already done CS before, and hosts too, I've decided to join CS.
I currently don't have a place myself so unfortunately it's difficult to host anyone!
Interests
Travelling, discovering cultures, people, way of lives, trekking around, a bit of water sports (I'd love to learn more kitesurfing and surfing, or any aquatic activity... like to scuba dive), rugby, tennis,...
I love food, so I always enjoy cooking a nice and simple meal or going out for some good food with friends. I also love the wine and/or beer that can go with the food... or not!
Music!! My ultimate dream would be to be able to play all possible instruments! LOL
For now I know piano, guitar, a bit of percussion (djembé, small instruments...),.. thinking of starting the flute or something else... I loooove local instruments and want to bring some back each time I travel...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like a lot of different things in terms of music and movies. I like new electro stuff as well as old funk-soul music! I mostly enjoy live music.
In movies I usually go to the cinema for good quality dramas, occasionally for blockbuster if it's with friends, I like to watch comedies but more at home with people.
I love TV shows and have seen so many of them...
I love it when I read a good book (I've recently read 1Q84) and a good magazine (currently reading Flow and Happinez).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
See the sunrise over Ankgor Wat in Cambodia, magical, definitely worth the early wake-up time!
Swimming/ snorkelling next to whale-sharks... incredible experience from Western Australia!!!!
And now I've been near Yasur volcano on Tanna island in Vanuatu, just a sunset and had the privilege to see it by night... so impressive to be next to an active volcano!!!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of music (piano/guitar) for beginners. I'm always willing to learn any instrument!
I can also teach French, English as foreign language (I guess... as I've live 2y 1/2 in UK, have lived with english speakers and in Australia). I love languages so I'd be glad to learn basics in your mother-tongue.
I'm a decent cook (quiches, crêpes, pan/grated stuff, few desserts, salads) so I can cook you something. I'd love to learn new recipes.
