About Me

I work for the Government of Canada in a policy role and I recently decided to take a year off work to challenge myself in different ways. Current plans involve spending time with family and friends, travelling and perhaps work in a different field for few months.

I'm pretty quiet most of the time but I also love going out for drinks, trying new restaurants and listening to live music! I can be high energy/extraverted but also very independant and calm.

Overall, I think i'm highly adaptable to people around me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used couchsurfing during one of my first backpacking trip more than 15 years ago. When I moved on my own, I figured it was time for me to give back! I host surfers when I lived in Washington D.C. and then stop during COVID.

I love the idea of connecting with new people who are completely outside your usual 'bubble'. Couchsurfing makes each travel experience much more interesting and can also allow you to travel for longer period of times if you happens to be on a budget and doing slow travel.

I'm now back on the site as I just started a year off work and intend to do some travelling. Hoping i'm not too old yet for this.... so this is a test :-).
