Recently moved back to Amsterdam after living in Canada for 6 years!

ABOUT ME

I grew up in Berlin, Germany, lived in Amsterdam for 4 years and moved to Canada in 2016, now I’m back in Amsterdam.

I have been travelling around Canada and Europe lots and did an amazing 2 months trip through Southeast Asia in 2016 and a road trip in New Zealand as well.

I’ve also biked across Europe - from Berlin to Oslo! (Yes, with a bicycle) - most recent trip was across Ireland, next trip is happening from Oslo to Stockholm.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed a few times in Canada and have made great friends through that! It was great to stay with a local who could show me around and give me insider tips. I always felt very welcomed in their homes!
I have also hosted a couchsurfer in Amsterdam and in Calgary , which was a lot of fun!

I regularly go to the couchsurfing meetups, whether I’m travelling or living somewhere - a great way to make friends!

Interests

I love dancing. I love reading. I love great food and good beers. I love open-minded people with whom I can talk about travelling. I love being spontaneous and doing crazy things. I love the feeling that there are so many cool places out there in the world that I will be able to explore very soon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Polar Swim Vancouver: on January 1st I jumped with 2000 other people into the Pacific Ocean. The water was 8° and outside it was 6°. Bbbrrrrrrrr!

- Cycling trip from Berlin to Oslo in 2017/18

- Camping in the Canadian Rockies in -10° and lots of snow.
