ABOUT ME

Hey! My name is Marie and I'm a 23 year old girl from Germany. I have been living in the USA in West Hartford, Connecticut for a year working as an Au Pair and taking care of two wonderful girls. It was an amazing year full of experiences but now I'm back in Germany, studying children's education and German as a foreign language.
People say about me I'm very polite, open minded for new experiences, a good listener, organised and fun to stay with (probably because I don't get jokes..I'm German)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just started CS as a surfer and as soon I'll have my own apartment I want to open my door for travellers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS is a new experience for me to get deeper in other cultures (especially the american). I just started it and I'm positive surprised!
The option to share opinions and life stories is much fun and gives me a different view about things.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thankful that I sent my childhood in a small village where I spent my free time in the fields and woods. I love the nature and to try new challenges. One of it was definitely to be an Au Pair in an other country. It was so easy there to catch up an other language and culture and meet all these lovely people who helped me wherever they could. It helps me to see new ways and adapt myself.
The other one is skydiving. Try it and you will love it!
