About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To stay connected to the world, myself and all living things around :-)

ABOUT ME

I was born in hamburg in a small 'village' around half an hour away from the citys center.
This is were i moved back to after staying for a while in the city.
So right now i live not far from my familys place, in a house with 3 good friends, their child and their dog.
We do lots of gardening as we have quite a big area to grow our own vegetables, herbs and fruits on now.
I like the work with plants as i do in my garden or as job, as well as i love the artswork with wood which i learned at home; building benches, tables, pencils or what ever... theres no end of ideas and projects in sigth :-)
Each of my journeys enriched me of the friendship of new interesting and freaky people and unforgettable memories and so i am looking forward new adventures.

PHILOSOPHY

make love not war and love a lot!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like to meet and help people travelling our city, or the same cities I travel, as well as to host and surf to get to know new people and share some stories and adventures.

Interests

I love arts, music, nature and sports.
For good weather I love those kinds of activities most that can be done in the nature like riding bike, longboarding, swimming, hiking or whatever... just laying in the sun :-)
As I am living in a sometimes quite rainy city, I like doing things inside like reading, cooking, baking, playing guitar/making music and painting as well.
I enjoy walking through new cities and to discover their architecture, foods(!) and history.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books from Stephen King,Terry Pratchet,Cornelia Funke, Andrew Vachss,Daniel Pennacs Monsieur Malaussene novels and lots more ...
There are lots of movies I like but in the end I like reading the most and I enjoy almost all kinds of music depending on wether the rythm fits to my mood :-)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I stayed for a workcamp-project with a Kolping-Group for one month in the Hanseatic School for Life in Thailand. It is an aid-project founded after the Tsunami in 2004 that provides a new home and education to children who welcomed us so warm and filled our hearts with their love and laughter :-)

travelling, people... living just always amazes me!

Teach, Learn, Share

We can do so many creative things like painting, making music, carving ( if you bring some time), creating something with wood or what ever..
I love to cook and bake and to try new recipes.
From spring on(as soon as theres no more snow on the streets) beeing outside and doing "sports" like longboarding is lots fun and not that hard to learn :-)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My spirit, laughter, listening and empathy...
