Hi! My name is Marieke, I am 27 years old and I am relatively new to the couchsurfing community - accept for I have attended quite a few couchsurfer events back when I lived in Amsterdam. Unfortunately I do not have a suitable house at the moment to have people over (in fact I am currently staying with my parents temporarily, looking for a new appartment in Maastricht). My hobbies are reading, writing, playing violin, having fun with friends, travelling, discovering new places and meeting new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love the philosophy behind it, I like welcoming people and I have often stayed over at other people's places not only because it is practical but mostly because it is fun!
