ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Marieke, 25 years old, studying Medicine in Leiden and religion in Utrecht. I really like to read, go for walks, meet people, laugh, cook, hitch hike, learn languages (even when I'm really bad in that), sing (or try to..) with my choir and do spontaneous (crazy) things with my friends.
I've always been really interested in traveling and seeing as much as possible from the world, but after having lived for almost 2 years in an international community in France I found out that real traveling is not about trying to see as many places as possible, but about meeting the people.

I love meeting people in circumstances you would otherwise not meet them, like with hitch-hiking, and going to places where you would otherwise not come.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
