COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A citytrip to Rome: we stayed at a local 's place the first night and met with other couchsurfing people the days after. A very positive experience!
A weekend in Torino with a fantastic host.
A week in Tasmania where I stayed and met up with several couchsurfers. I still believe it is the best way to travel. I met some really interesting people who could show me the best local spots!

I hosted 3 Portuguese guys at my former house in Ghent. It was interesting to see my own city from a tourist's perspective.

Music, music, music! (Accordion, recorder and singing, in folk and jazz and even some classical styles) Travelling, learning foreign languages, art, psychology.
Enjoying all the good and beautiful things in life: hiking in nature, strolling around beautiful and interesting cities, enjoying good food and drinks, learning new things, meeting nice people.

Hmm, I have a very broad taste, it's very hard for me to pick just a few.

Music: all good live music from folk, gipsy, jazz to classical... I'm open to suggestions!
Movies: drama, comedy, anything except for horror movies I guess.

I don't read often but when I do, I drop everything else :)

my erasmus time in Italy, Ethno (an amazing folk music exchange with musicians from all over the world), the Camino de Santiago, a European tour with a big band, my travels in Australia

I can teach you some (Belgian and other) folk music and dances, I may play you some accordion tunes, I can sing you some jazz standards or 20's swing songs accompanied by ukuelele, I can tell you all about which Belgian beers and chocolate to taste, introduce you to some psychology facts and probably some other stuff I can't think of right now :)
I'm open to learning and sharing anything with you!
