As a child I always wanted to have my own Travel agency, when grown up. And I also wanted to make the word a better place. I ended up working for an amazing Enterprise, developing and organising personal leadership journeys, all around the world. It took me to many inspirational locations, meeting many inspirational people. Apart from the Business traveling, I used all my holiday days to explore new countries, with my boyfriend Peter or with my best friends.

And although Amsterdam is my favorite place, we always had this idea to travel a bit longer than the usual 3 weeks. I also dreamed of living abroad for a while. So here is what we did, we both quit our lovely jobs, to travel for 5 months through Asia and Australia, to end up in New Zealand, where we now live and work, for at least a year.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since we are having a spare room, I like to make other people happy with it, rather than leaving it empty.

I prefer to do Couchsurfing instead of AirBNB/making money with it, because expectations are different;)

And when we are couch surfing ourselves, we don't do it because of the money, but because of the experience. Staying with locals is always the real and best way to experience a different culture and country, in my opinion!
