Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Deep conversations about nothing at all; good music blasting through speakers; panoramas over unknown cities
ABOUT ME
I'm Marieke, I am 23 years old, and I am currently interning for feminist art centers in Montreal. I grew up in the Netherlands, where I also spent 3 years studying Sociology and Gender Studies in Maastricht. In between things I have lived in Italy and in California. I am a very open, enthusiastic and curious person. I'm in love with French, Italian, good wine, even better conversations, writing, poetry, good music, long walks and much more.
PHILOSOPHY
"How can you live and have no story to tell?"
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
By hopefully hosting some people interested in lovely Montreal, and by being able to sleep on great people's couches in my short travels through North-Quebec.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have had quite some couch surfers over through my flatmates in several houses all over the world, but that's about it. Looking forward to creating new experiences though, and I've always very much enjoyed connecting to couchsurfers due to the shared mentality.
