ABOUT ME

Marieke is the name.
I just moved from a small village in the middle of the Netherlands to Amsterdam and it's so exciting!

I grew up with my parents who raised me with the christian religion, but I myself still don't know whether I'm religious or not. I went to highschool for 6 years and had a year off after that in which I worked and traveled through Europe with my friend. Such a good experience!

Right now I'm studying Linguistics in Amsterdam, it's my first year and I just started, I hope it's gonna be nice.

I'm an openminded girl, maybe a bit shy when I just meet someone, but if that someone gives me a good feeling I'll soon be as crazy as a duck.

I surfed a lot of couches during the Eurotrip, but didn't have the opportunity yet to host travelers too. I hope that opportunity comes real quick!
