我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Because it is one of the ways of discovering a place and its people on a different level. I like that is always a totally new and interesting experience. I am also fond of the city we live in, Ghent, and happy to show CS'ers my favorite places to go to.

兴趣

- I wouldn't be on CS if I didn't like travelling, would I? I like to try out different ways of travelling, getting to know better peoples' history and culture being the central aspect.
- Dancing has been an constant in my life, as I found it one the most powerful ways to recharge my batteries. At the moment I am learning to dance lindy hop. Music and singing, in particular jazz, is an other very interesting world I am exploring now.
- I love cooking and baking, and as I am a vegetarian it is always a bit of a challenge to find new and variated dishes. I am recently more and more digging into the vegan world as well. If you stay over I would love to cook together or for you. Feel free to bring in some recipes of your home country!
- Besides that I am interested by reading about climate change, social topics and psychological subjects. I try to engage in some volunteering, such as helping out refugees.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I am always very moved by the strenght of the voice of the people, for example seeing protest actions asking for changes concerning social/environmental issues.

I strongly believe every person has its own story and experiences to share with others, of which we can learn. If we meet through CS we can find out what those are!
