About Me

2017, after leaving school, I travelled to cuba and usa first and then entered canada for half a year on a work visa - Sounds like a typical Gap Year Kid, I know. But who says beeing such a kid is worse than a non-traveler-kid? while working and travelling in canada i got to know so amazing people (visited the usa a couple of times as well) and left to meet some of them in malaysia & thailand again. afterwards i went home for christmas and decided to leave again - australia and nz this time. i came back to germany - left again to aus - and came back the 2. time- this time on a work visa - again. i worked as a education support officer/teacher assistant for a while after being an aupair for a month (2 years old girl absolutely love & miss her). so glad that i have been able to get some experience regarding my career as a teacher this early on the other side of the world!

This was my couchsurfing-rpofile text quite a few years ago but things have changed and now I am a student of the english language + fine arts and education. i recently moved to muenster

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

unfortunately i‘ve been getting weird messages so i feel like i have to mention why i am not here:
it should be clear but this is not a dating platform
if anyone confuses couchsurfing with couchdating - don't even think about writing me a message.

now why i like it so much:
I used to be super shy with strangers but thats not like that anymore thanks to pushing myself out of the comfort zone. I prefer couchsurfing because of the people as you get to know a stranger pretty well in those couple of days. and every person gives you something it’s up to you what you make out of it.
It might be a life changing point of view on something or it might just be the best dinner you had thanks to a recommendation.
And I am curious - I want so see how other people live their life - what they work, study or what their intrests are, want to know their craziest travelling experience - and see random daily life moments.
and even go back to a former host who became a friend. or them coming to my place which is not possible yet but next year as i ll move out.
