About Me
I'm a bubbly freelancer who enjoys lively discussions about language, cinema, politics while drinking craft beer. Karaoké bars bring out the best of me, but you'll probably need to come and visit me in Montréal to see that.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I went to England to do a Ph.D. in English literature, so now I mostly stay with friends when I travel. However, conferences sometimes lead me to visit cities in which I don't know anyone. I prefer staying with locals who can tell me about the best cafés in which to work and the wonderful craft beers on offer in local microbreweries.

Music, Movies, and Books
Just to give you a flavour: Shame, I Am Love, Leviathan, The Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Godspeed You Black Emperor!, Dostoïevski, Gas Bar Blues, Radiohead, Oscar Wilde, Gegen die Wand (Head On), Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Tricot Machine, American Beauty, Borges, Metallica covers, City of God, Alan Moore, Moist, etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I forged wonderful friendships in exile, and it brings me great joy to meet up in Las Vegas for a wedding, in Sydney for a whole month of work, research and play, in Saint-Nazaire to visit a new home or in Paris for a conference.
I also had great fun playing tourist guide at a conference hosted in Montréal!
