About Me
Hi, I’m Mariem. Tunisian, raised in the UAE, now based in Poland. Life somehow ended up spanning cultures, languages, and very different worlds, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Energy is a big part of who I am. The kind that fills a room, starts conversations with strangers, and somehow turns simple moments into memorable ones. Between studying Business Analytics, working in Tech, building communities, and being involved in youth initiatives, there is always something happening.
Dance is one of my languages. From belly dance to kizomba, zouk, and konpa, it has taken me across cultures and even into teaching, including introducing Polish people to something completely new to them.
Conversations matter a lot to me. Not small talk, but the kind where you forget time. Being around different nationalities and environments shaped that. One good conversation can genuinely stay with you, and I like to think I bring that kind of experienc

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Places are interesting, but people are what make them unforgettable.
The best memories always come from shared moments, not from ticking off locations. This is just a way to experience that more often.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is constant. Not background noise, but something that sets the tone of the moment.
Arabic, Afro, Latin, French, electronic, old school, new discoveries. If it carries rhythm or emotion, it stays. Dancing and music naturally go together, so playlists are always a mix of cultures and moods.
I enjoy films and series that either make you think or make you feel something strong. Same with books. It is less about genre and more about impact.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Brought people from completely different backgrounds into the same space and watched them connect like they had known each other for years.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: dance, especially styles that connect cultures, and cooking Tunisian food
Learn: how people live, think, and see the world
Share: energy, stories, perspectives, and those unexpected deep conversations
What I Can Share with Hosts
A very easy and positive presence. Clean, organized, and genuinely respectful of space and boundaries.
Good food, good conversations, and good energy. The kind of guest who adapts to the vibe, whether it is sharing stories over a meal or simply coexisting comfortably.
Also, a bit of fun if you are up for it. That could be a dance moment in your living room or discovering something new together.
