ABOUT ME

I love the experience of traveling around and living in other cultures, „diving“ into these cultures so that you really try to experience how it feels like to live and be at this place, and not just be a tourist doing some sightseeing.
Since my early „childhood“ I had this spirit of traveling.
When I was sixteen I spent one year in Mexico (D.F.), were I had a really great time living in a Hostfamily and went to school there, too.
Southamerica since then is my favourite. After my Highschool degree I lived a few months in south brazil were I worked as a volunteer in a Childrens’ place.In Brazil I traveled for some weeks from south to north what was a wonderful, adventerous experience. There I got to know such an amount of nice and impressing people who shared their life with me.
Another thing because of what I really like traveling is speaking and hearing other languages. I love nearly all the latin languages like spanish, italian, portuguese,
Some day I want to travel to south-east-asian countries (I was in Sri Lanka yet, but i’d like to visit India, ...)
But first I’ll get to know to the United States, which I’m very excited to explore, in more or less one month I’ll be participating at Model United Nations in New York, the worlds biggest simulation of the U.N.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was born in Hamburg and nowadays I live and study in Erfurt, which is a small town in the center of Germany, really nice and cute. Unfortunately I don’t have a couch and not much space so at the moment, so I’m not able to offer a sleepingplace to someone but I will try to organize this to be happen.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since a long time I wanted to experience couchsurfing and now finally I will be having the possibility to participate in this marvelous, great network!
I do have some experiences with traveling and „couchsurfing“ but this was more like living in the house of friends’ friends: got to know someone on my travels, who invited
me to come to his/her house and so I went there to stay some days and so on.... i imagine couchsurfing is nearly the same, just in an organized way.

i'm kind of interested in everything, and i'm thinking travelling is the best way to learn a lot. especially about different ways of living, thinking and other cultural identities, languages..
i could share from my experiences as well, that could be stories or to speak some german hehe..
