Hello :)

I discovered my passion for traveling when I did an interrail tour through Europe a few years ago. Since then I have travelled around almost whole Western and Northern Europe, some parts of Eastern Europe and I backpacked through Thailand. I like being active an spontaneous while traveling like doing bicycle tours, hiking, camping or backpacking. Within the next months I will do an internship in Switzerland and travel to California and after that the next destination will be Iceland... (hopefully) :)

I live in Berlin, a city you definitely should visit once in your lifetime: I love jogging through the city center, riding my bicycle through the traffic (much more reliable than the public transport), hanging around in the many bars and cafes, sitting in the parks and going to open air festivals in summer. And I am quite busy studying medicine.

I am an active, friendly, easy-going person, laughing and smiling a lot. I am looking forward to get to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to get to know new people and see a place from the locals point of view. I do not like heading around to see all the sights but prefer just walking around and exploring the city and spending time in cafes and bars.

I do not have a lot couchsurfing experiences but I participated in Youth Meetings with people from European countries a few times. I think traveling and making friends all over the world is the best way to overcome prejudices and bring people together.

Music, Movies, and Books

I cannot say that there is a specific kind of music I like, so I listen to many styles. If I like a specific song depends on my mood and some other factors I could not identify so far :D
When I go to clubs, I mostly dance to electronic music/techno or crossover styles like electro swing.

I really am a fan of Greys Anatomy. This is a cliche as I am a medicine student but I have seen every episode!

The last book I read was Jon Krakauers "Into thin air". I was really impressed by his story of climbing the Mount Everest and the disaster that happened. I can only recommend the book and definitely want to watch the movie!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hiking in Finland without a map for a week. Worst idea I have ever had, but such a great experience in the end. Finnish people are the most helpful people I have met so far!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a little German and playing the piano and I am quite good at baking cakes -> If you like cake, I can bake one for you or we can bake together :)

I am always looking for some good recipes of national meals, though I am not a good cook. And of course I want to learn something about you, your culture and your country.

Maybe we can share some experiences about traveling and other amazing things...
