Travelling down Great Ocean Road for new years (until the 4th)

ABOUT ME

I am a 28 year old Scottish girl. Work as architect and live in Manchester, UK. I'm in Australia visiting a friend who has just moved to Melbourne. We rented a camper van for new years (just a small Jucy camper) to drive down Great Ocean Road without fully realising how difficult it would be to find places to park it. All the campsites seem to be full at this time of year!!

We assume that if we have permission of whoever lives in a house then we can park and camp out front and we won't be breaking any laws. Hopefully meet some cool people along the way too :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couch-surfing is a great tool to meet people and find a place to stay. I have mostly met and stayed with couchsurfers by chance, rather than through the actual site so this trip is the first time that I will be relying on messaging strangers and asking for places to stay.
