About Me

I'm a very kind and passionate woman. I love to learn and share what I learn. Which is why I am currently working with a psychologist on articles, Instagram posts and youtube videos during my free time. I also have my own youtube channel where I share stuff related to psychology, ecology and personal development. I'm a very creative person and always have tons of ideas on how to improve my life or help others improve their own life. So whenever I can, I try to share it with the world.

I have had a personal challenge for the past few months: Spread as much kindness around me as possible. So when I see something I like, I will likely go out of my way to give a compliment or express my gratefulness. It costs nothing and it is so rewarding to see the smile it gives to the other person. I absolutely love positive psychology for that reason. It's such an easy way to spread happiness in this world. (Yes i'm kind of a dreamer and an utopist but who cares there's actually a quote that says "People who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do" and I really want to live by that quote.)

I also love watching documentaries and talking about various subjects like ecology, history, psychology, etc. Right now, i'm learning to speak Spanish and Italian (but i've been focusing on Italian for the past few months because it's too confusing to learn both those languages at the same time haha).

I was born in France and lived most of my life in a small country side town in Brittany (West part of France). When I was 4-5 years old I lived in Florida for one year which is where I learnt english (and explains why I don't have the terrible french accent in english). I was so frustrated to not be able to swim with dolphins that i made the decision that i would swim with dolphins every day for the rest of my life by becoming a zootherapist (if you are curious i'll tell you more about it in person). In 2012 my parents decided to move from France to Canada. Since then i've moved quite a lot between Montreal and Saint-Jérôme. I spent the 2 first years in Montreal (and in my head i was living the absolute American dream with the full length locker and the yellow school bus like in the hollywood movies). Then I moved to Saint-Jérôme with my parents for the 2 years of Cégep. And for the past 3 years i've lived in the university dormitory while completing my bachelors in psychology. Now that my bachelors is finished i'm looking to settle down in the beautiful city of Montreal. I've found a job so I can now look for an apartment. I'm hoping to have a place by November so wish me luck!!

I'm mostly calm but I also have a crazy side: for some weird reason I absolutely love disaster movies or documentaries. Wether it is a plane crash, and environmental disaster or a other type of accident i will binge watch it so badly...

Also I tend to ask myself a thousand questions about everything I see. I love to think about the lives of people with a completely different situation than me. I find that fascinating and sometimes it helps me realize how lucky I am.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I was working for a community organism that is there to help and support young adults between the ages of 18 to 30 years old who are suffering from homelessness or who are at risk of becoming homeless in my own town. This really was a wake up call for me. I realized how much stuff I used to take for granted that aren't given to everyone. This made me appreciate even more having a bed to sleep in at night, having a roof over my head, having my parents to support me during my transition from teenager to adult, having enough food to eat at every meal and so on, being able to shower every day and so many other things.
