About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Appreciate my options, perform to my fullest, take it all in, and love it.
ABOUT ME
I'm outgoing, I'm organized, I can't multitask (which makes it even more important to be organized), and I love to laugh.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think the most important part about traveling is experiencing the culture of the place you are visiting, and although a lot is revealed just by walking down the main street or having a taste of the local food, staying with a native leaves more depth to your understanding of the culture. CouchSurfing gives you exactly that.
Currently I only surf, as I am currently not living in a place, where it is possible to host. But I am always up for a talk, a glass of wine and a good laugh for visitors who come around.
Interests
I'm a big fan of the great outdoors. I have grown up with an annual week of hiking in the alps and every once in a while the fellow Scandinavian countries have invited to canoeing and climbing. After moving to Norway in 2016 this interest has become much more central in my life, and together with my boyfriend and friends I have had many adventures of many-day hikes, conquering difficult peaks, and ski touring beautiful white landscapes. For me, the outdoors is both the big, embrassing silence and cut-off from the world around. But I also use it as a way of testing my limits and reaching goals.
When my body aches and I just need to relax, I make myself a steamy cup of tea (that I actually rarely finish drinking) and relax in the couch either watching a funny tv series or knitting a new project.
I am a very social person, so I also spend a lot of time hanging out with my friends in the city, and I would say I am one of these people who bring people together. I love arranging dinners, parties, trips or alike.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I am a little short in realizing my own abilities. So while only having back-country skied for 3 hours before, I decided to do a six day ski trip, 100 km, crossing two of the most amazing Norwegian mountain areas. Of course I was smart enough to bring my boyfriend who is very experienced, so as not to risk my life in the Norwegian cold. These were days with a lot of beautiful nature, feeling your body embrassing the cold and the wind, and just feeling very free. But it was also days with a lot of crying, frustration and fear. A great test of our relationship, which was only a year in at this time.
Since have followed many amazing back-country skiing tours.
What I Can Share with Hosts
It very much depend on the host. I'm a kind and considerate surfer, who try and sense how I can best adjust to my host. Some hosts want to hang out and talk, and then I am definitely up for this! I would love to hear more about your country and city, your upbringing and opinions, or whatever you would like to share. I am very curious, and I find that all people have something important and interesting to share. I have to admit that I have not paid attention in middle school on the history of Denmark, but I have many other interesting things to share :-)
If you have a busy schedule, then I wil definitely adjust to this.
