About Me

It is a really tough thing for me to describe myself but I'll try to anyway. I am a very open-minded person that is willing to try anything in the limits of my personal ethics. I am genuinely interested in people's stories and feel that I learn a lot about myself by listening to and sharing exeriences.
I studied architecture, love all kinds of arts (and hate some too), would love to be able to play the accordion, or any instrument really, I used to sing in children operas and miss it everyday. I'm always trying to improve things in my life and others' lives, some days I succeed and others I don't. Also, I've been a not-very-strict vegetarian all my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It all started in Rome in 2008 when I went to a CS meeting with a girl I just met. We kept going during the whole stay and I made very good friends there. My first real personal use of Couchsurfing was in St-Petersbourg where I went on my own and stayed with 2 girls that I will never forget, I had the best time with both of them. I tried to host a bit in Boston last year while I was living there but my roommate didn't really like having strangers around all the time.
In 2013 my two roommates and I roadtripped in the US from New Orleans to San Francisco, we mainly couchsurfed and our hosts made the whole trip special, unpredictable and exciting. Then in 2015, with the same friend we cycled through the north of Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia and Austria and met plenty of adorable hosts too.
Now that I'm back in Switzerland I'm really looking forward to hosting fun, weird, young, not that young surfers from everywhere!
