About Me
ABOUT ME
I am in school taking what feels like all of the sciences in order to apply to a graduate nursing program. I'm currently living in the gorgeous foothills of the Appalachians. I don't get to travel as much as I'd like these days, but I was fortunate enough to rack up a fair amount during the past decade. I am a Returned Peace Corps Volunteer, which is a beautiful culture of which to be a part. I love food! All kinds of food! And all kinds of music. I'm really good at thrift store shopping, listening and cleaning. I enjoy a nice Pinot Noir, Ira Glass and quality writing pens... in any order.

Music, Movies, and Books
First five when I hit shuffle on my iTunes:
1. Of Montreal- The Past is a Grotesque Animal
2. System of a Down- Radio/Video
3. Damien Rice- Cannonball
4. Jurassic 5- After School Special
5. JJ Grey & Mofro- On Fire
Well, that's totally misrepresentative of my love of hip hop and classic rock.
Movies: Roxanne with Steve Martin and Daryl Hannah is my all time favorite.
Books: Currently reading, 'Anatomy and Physiology: An Integrated Approach.'
