ABOUT ME

Hello !
My name is Marie-Soleil ! I am a Canadian travelling around the world ! Right now I am living in Changchun, China, and teaching English in a university ! I can speak English and French, and I have basic understanding of Spanish ! I am currently attempting to learn Chinese, and I would also like to learn some Russian !
I am a very outgoing and easy to live with girl, trying to connect with locals wherever I go !

PHILOSOPHY

Traveling is my way to soak in as much information as possible on the different ways of living around the globe ! I think traveling and learning about different cultures make you a better and more complete person !

I would like to surf as many couches as possible, and I am also open to receiving couchsurfers in Changchun, where I live at the moment

I am pretty much new in the whole CouchSurfing world, but would definitely like to be a bigger part of it !

Interests

I obviously LOVE to travel. When I travel my main interests are to discover the food from where I am, try to understand how people from there see the world and visit different historic landmarks !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I thought visiting Auschwitz in Poland was an eye-opening experience !

On a lighter note, I thought the city of Rome was amazing and filled with so much with history and culture I couldn't take it all in (aka I have to go back!!).

I also thought the Christmas Markets in Vienna were beautiful and made the city look like it was out of a Disney movie ! (I have a big crush on that city since I lived there for a few months!)
