My Name is Marie, I grew up in Loire valley with my parents and my adventurer brother in a countryside city in the center of France.
After working for 2 years with odd jobs in Normandy ( Rouen), i now need to open ly minde with traveling ! I had a degree in Tourism but actually.. i didn't really traveled much: Switzerland, Spain England when i was yound and since 2018, United States and Canada !

So i always heard about couchsurfing stories by my brother Simon and sometimes we welcomed couchsurfers in our place in Loire Valley. But i'm preparing living the experience for real on my own!
After a one month road trip with my brother in west coast of USA and 2 months living in Montréal, i'd love to finally discover other wonderfuls country such as Ireland, Austria, Sweden, Norway, Iceland or New Zealand :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm here cause i spent too much time not daring leaving my comfort zone. I need and want now to Discover people, learn about others ( and so about myself), learn english, share, see some country and so on !

Interests

I very recently started analag photography with the old camera of my father !
I love cooking simple meals with what i found on my fridge and obviously discover every other meal as possible !

I'm quite openminded about movies. I'd love to hear locals musics too.
I'm very inspired by LOTR movies, that's maybe why i'd like to visit new Zealand one day!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my first day of road trip in USA with my brother, we stopped in front of the ocean for the sunset in a small parking lot. A campervan of a retired couple were parked next us. They imediatly invited us to drink and eat something, sharing stories. They even often go to France and especially our region ( Loire Valley). Unique meet and very incredible first impression !
