About Me

I like just walking around. Exploring. Making memories.

Every now and then I feel the urge to go places, to walk around until I cannot feel my feet anymore. I like getting randomly "lost". It is the most funny way to discover the place and create the most personal yet authentic memories. That is why I like visiting with a local person. Someone who knows places to go to, great food places to taste local specialities (yeah, I am deff a foodie person) or to take the best pictures (I am also a pic person). I am interested in exploring the place under a different angle, enjoying it in a local style, and getting the most genuine experience possible ;)

Travelling is, however, more than just getting to see what is "out there". It is about shaping one own self. I like getting to know local people. Talk to them. Listen what they are happy to share about their country, city, culture. I like to listen. And to learn. To learn about the place, people and the culture. I believe, this experience has shaped me into a person I have become. Having lived in three diametrally opposed countries, surrounded by people of different nationalities and backgrounds, led me to see the bigger picture. People are more than their nationality.

I am an easy-going, energetic and enthusiastic 23y old student, who moves places while studying. I am always for fun, and I like adventures.

If you have read all the way through here, please insert an answer to the following question in case you would like to contact me: Would you rather travel the world and never get to come back home, or would you stay home forever and never get to explore the world out there?

I do not have currently a bed to offer, but I am always down to meet up and show you around :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to get to know the city, to enjoy it, not just see it. What's the better way than to do this with a local?

Interests

One of the main reasons I like moving around the globe is that it comes with making new friends. Different backgrounds, cultures always lead to enjoyable ways of widening cultural horizons.

While commuting from a point A to a point B, or sweating my body off on the treadmill, I like to listen to the music, the more beats, the better.

When I am not being trapped in the world of numbers and stock indexes, I watch TV shows. Like a lot.

Finally, I am a foodie. I tried not to be, but hey, I trynna make those treadmill sessions wort it.

Music, Movies, and Books

Don't have a specific music faves, just give me the beat, that's all I am asking for.

I am not a movie person, but TV shows, that a whole different love story.
I binge-watched HIMYM, TBBT, Suits, PLL, Mr. Robot, The Flash, Arrow, HTGAWM, and a bunch of girlie stuff.

My most times favorite would by anything from J.K. Rowling . Yass, big Harry Potter fan here. And I also like Paulo Coehlo's books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like "exotic". Watching the sunset on a camel's lump in Sahara, visiting Cairo's National Museum and Luxor or wandering in the catacombs of Tutankhamum pyramids in Giza are proly my personal highlights and memories I cherish the most. Oh, and the Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon in Teotihuacan were pretty cool too.

There is definitely tremendously more to explore. So bring it on!

Teach, Learn, Share

Come out of your confort zone. Grab a backpack and go. Get lost, get to see unknown, allow yourself those memories. At the end of the day, it will be all worth it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Having a pretty multicultural background, I will be more than happy to share all I got to experience. And I would be pretty curious to hear stories of my fellow couchsurfers.
